The signplume handbook
How to set up signplume for your organisation, step by step, and what every admin screen does. Written for the person who sets it up.
Get started
Setup guideThe steps that take a new organisation to signatures in real mail, in the order that works, each with its status.
How mail is handledWhat signplume sends, what each way of signing touches in your mail, and how long records are kept.
Connect your directory
Connect Google WorkspaceCreate a service account, grant it domain-wide delegation with exactly the scopes signplume asks for, and paste its key on Directory sync.
Connect Microsoft Entra IDRegister an app in Microsoft Entra, grant it User.Read.All (and Group.Read.All for groups), and paste its client secret on Entra ID sync.
Get signatures into mailboxes
Gmail pushWrite each person's signature straight into Gmail through your Google Workspace connection, so nobody has to paste anything.
Deploy the Outlook add-inCreate your organisation's add-in on signplume and deploy it once from the Microsoft 365 admin center, so signatures appear as people write.
Copy and paste into GmailInstall a signature by hand in Gmail on the web, for anyone your Gmail push does not cover.
Copy and paste into OutlookInstall a signature by hand in the new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web and Outlook for Mac.
Copy and paste into Apple MailInstall a signature by hand in Apple Mail on a Mac, an iPhone or an iPad.
